Yoga classes in Wimbledon

Looking to stretch, focus, energise, contemplate, clear your mind, open your heart and be inspired? You’re in the right place. In my classes you’ll practice along sometimes to great music (listen to the latest playlist here) or sometimes in silence, always with laughter. You’ll have a lot of fun and meet some lovely people! And you’ll leave feeling strong, peaceful, positive and generally blissed out.

My small and exclusive classes take place in a serene, fully equipped, welcoming space full of natural light with views out over the garden. In summer we throw open the doors or sometimes practice on rugs outside. The darker winter months are warm, cosy and lit by candlelight.

The semi private setting ensures that you get tailor made, hands on teaching in a community of like minded people. I get to know what you need and what your capabilities are. And you get to develop and deepen your practice at your own pace – whether fast or slow!

My teaching style is what I would call Mindful Flow – a combination of alignment and conscious movement with the variety, creativity and fun of flowing from one pose to the next.

Each class is different – from upbeat and challenging to quiet and restorative (and everywhere in between) according to the time of day, month or year. I also love to weave in little extras – readings, poems, nuggets of yogic philosophy – alongside some great music for a multi-layered experience.

If you want to work within a group and come to regular classes, there are a couple of options. Choose Mixed Ability if you’re new to yoga, haven’t done much or are coming back to practice after a break. Six months experience or more? Intermediate is for you.

This term runs from 6 January – 1 April. No classes 17 and 19 February. 

Booking is essential.

All classes take place at Garden House, 75 Cottenham Park Road, London SW20 0DR (it’s the door on the left hand side).

What you need to know:

  • Don’t eat a heavy meal 2-3 hours before class
  • Wear comfortable clothes you can move around in (whatever you’d wear to the gym or for a run is fine)
  • All props are provided – but feel free to bring your own mat if you prefer
  • First timers please arrive 10 minutes early to take care of first time registration paperwork
  • Be on time – the door shuts when class starts
  • If you are unavoidably late please text to let me know, come to the back door – enter and settle yourself as quietly as possible
  • We’re a mobile free zone – unplug for your class!
  • If you can’t make class please give me as much notice as possible and arrange to make it up at another class during the term
  • If you are feeling ill or at the beginning of a cold please do not attend class and catch up when you are recovered
  • Classes cannot be carried over to the next term
  • Refunds will not be issued after term has started
